Reformation Service – Come Celebrate With Us

Celebrate the Protestant Reformation and its Spiritual Heritage

Speaker: Dr. Adam P. Groza

WHO: All are invited!

WHAT: A celebration of the historic Protestant Reformation! The celebration will include remembering the Reformation and its ongoing legacy, singing some historic Reformation hymns and psalms, and receiving good old-fashioned Reformation preaching!

This year’s topic will focus on the doctrine known as sola fide, justification by faith alone, in the historical context of Martin Luther’s Tower Experience.

This year’s speaker will be Dr. Adam P. Groza. Dr. Groza is the Vice President for Enrollment and Student Services Adjunct Professor at Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary. He is a two-time graduate of Southern Seminary where he also served on staff as the Director of Development. Dr. Groza grew up in Phoenix, Arizona and has served in various ministry capacities in Arizona, California, and Texas. He has taught philosophy at Tarleton State University, Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, and the College at Southwestern. He joined the Golden Gate faculty in June 2010 after serving on faculty and as Director of Admissions at Southwestern. Dr. Groza has been married to Holly since 2000 and together they have four children: Cosette, Charlie , Christian, and Cate. Holly is from Burbank, California and enjoys being a stay-at-home mother and homeschooling her children. In their spare time, the Grozas enjoy hiking, going to the beach, and concerts.
