Join us for a celebration of the Lord’s work in the historic Protestant Reformation! This annual service is an opportunity to remember the Reformation and its ongoing legacy, sing some historic Reformation hymns and psalms, and receive good old-fashioned Reformation preaching! The annual pre-service lecture features a church history lesson on the Reformation.

This year’s speaker will be Dr. Cornelis P. Venema, President and Professor of Doctrinal Studies at Mid-America Reformed Seminary, and minister in the United Reformed Churches in North America.

The specific theme for this year is the work of the reformers in producing the Canons of Dort on the occasion of the 400th Anniversary of the Synod of Dort. Often remembered for being the historical root for the famous acronym TULIP, the Canons of Dort are a hallmark of the reformers in heralding God’s sovereign grace. Dr. Venema will be the speaker for both the lecture and formal service.

Refreshments will be served following the formal service.
